Here's what I'm currently working on to donate to the Jinni Hoggard Fundraiser:
I know it's not my standard fantasy fare, but I wanted to do something that might appeal to a wider audience, and therefore, hopefully raise lots more money! The Irises are modelled after my own "Hot Cocoa" and "Pink Cloud" plantings, which are just about to burst into bloom again. I'll post pictures of them later, when they're in all their glory.
I've also designed a logo for the fundraiser, which seems to be going under the moniker of "Hogg Fest". The first was the original design, the second is an updated design, after Roch suggested just having the 't' be a ribbon:
I'm not sure which I like best. I like the idea of having the words morphing into the ribbon, but for print advertising, the latter would probably be best as we may be restricted to black and white.
"House" was quite good tonight...I do like Chi McBride, but his character was a real bastard! Can't say I'm altogether sad to see "Vogler" go, but I'll miss Mr McBride, as he's quite a fine actor!
